The 49th Grammy Awards were announced yesterday. These are the winners in the seven Latin categories:

1 - Best Latin Pop Album (tie)
(Vocal or Instrumental.)

Adentro - Ricardo Arjona [Norte/Sony BMG]

Limón Y Sal - Julieta Venegas [Norte/Sony BMG]

Awkward tie moment: "During the pre-telecast portion of the awards show, Miss Universe Zuyleka Rivera presented the Grammy award for Best Latin Pop Album.

Rivera, however, listed both Arjona for "Adentro" and Julieta Venegas for "Limon Y Sal" when reading the winners, so it wasn't really clear who had actually won. The members of the Spanish-language press corps were understandably confused because a Grammy official said only Arjona had taken the prize.

Later, a Grammy official came back into the press room to say it was a tie."
