"Alamo Heights SA" is online: "A spicy Tex-Mex melodramedy cybernovela in seven-minute bites."
This cybernovela, produced by ZyntroPics INC, "is designed specifically for today's online, mobile, iPod® and Tivo® audiences". It's free, and you can watch it on YouTube, Google Video and other services like these. The series is delivered in English and Spanish language versions. More info here.
Here's the synopsis:
"The story of Alamo Heights SA focuses on the intimate relationships and business intrigue that intertwine two affluent Hispanic families, one in San Antonio, Texas, and the other in Monterrey, Mexico. The De Zavala and Montes families, who have built a cross-border lingerie and apparel empire, fight to expand their wealth and influence as their business is torn apart by international economic strife coupled with emerging family politics.
The first marriage between the families has been arranged to form a front of unification that both sides hope will salvage their deteriorating relationship. Behind the scenes, the prospect of this marriage and its political implications has opened the gates for power-shifting and scandal on both sides of the Border...and in all the bedrooms."
Interesting, isn't it? I just hope they don't get caught in the typical-predictable-stereotypical script. We'll see.
