Alejandro Sanz Talks About His Concert in Caracas
Filed in archive Latin Music on October 30, 2007

In declarations to the newspaper La Opinión, Alejandro Sanz talked about the problem regarding his concert in Caracas:
"It makes me sad, because all the tickets for that concert have been sold in record time. So far, what we have been told is that apparently they have decided to have a governmental event, the same day of the concert, in the same place. I don't know if it is a coincidence or not", Alejandro said. "But well, it seems that if that's the case, we won't be able to have the concert there."
Sanz also said:
"In these (last) two months, when I took a break in order to recover, I've learned something very important: everything related to music, to create it, to compose, to play with my band, all of that matters to me... What I wanted was people to listen to me, to see what I do, without any interference of my personal problems. Indeed, that was all that people was talking about, my shows, my songs. From now on, that's the only thing that matters to me, and for that I will continue to be Alejandro Sanz. In order to give music to myself and to those who want to listen to it."
Evenpro, the company responsible for Sanz's concerts in venezuela, has assured those who bought tickets for the show that the event will take place in another location. They have promised to give further details in the next days.
