Clarín is one of the biggest, more important newspapers of Argentina - both printed and digital version.
They are supposed to be a serious, reliable source of news and information, right? They have years of experience, a big staff, etc, etc. Yeah, right.
Look at the headline I've found in today's Clarín Digital Edition:
For those who doesn't speak Spanish, what they are saying is Gustavo Santaolalla won a Grammy in the Best Compilation Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media category. He was nominated with the OST of Brokeback Mountain.
The only problem is... he didn't! The winner was Walk The Line, by Joaquin Phoenix (& Various Artists) and T Bone Burnett (producer).
How could they let such a gruesome error get published? Didn't they bother to check the winners on the Grammy Official website?
Osvaldo Golijov did win the Best Opera Recording award. But to say that Santaolalla also won is just ridiculous.
