Brazilian Carnival - Salvador, Bahia
Filed in archive Latin Culture , Latin Travel by Eliane on February 20, 2007

Another beautiful video featuring the carnival in Salvador, Bahia. In this one you can see not only the street carnival, but various expressions of Brazilian culture: "fitas do Senhor do Bom Fim" (blessed colored ribbons), capoeira, the "baianas" (women who sell typical food on the streets, dressed in traditional outfits), typical food, "trios elétricos", "blocos de carnaval", the carnival's queens, and even my beloved Ivete Sangalo.

The video also features gorgeous landscapes of Salvador's touristic points. The old colonial buildings, the bay and the sea, the tropical beach... everything is so beautiful, you'll feel like traveling!
