Breakfast Required

This is so great! I was reading that in various states in breakfast is being treated as a class.

That's right, elementary school kids in the public school system are being required to bring specific food items, as if they were regular school supplies, for their first class. The pilot program was in Mexico City, and it's he program has been so successful, it's now going to be implemented in Guanajuato.

It's part of an initiative to stop and prevent future obesity.

In the US, I've noticed more and more companies including breakfast as part of the job. Kitchens are stocked and employees are encouraged to grab a bite as they walk in the door.

As a fan of breakfast, I love this trend.
