MSNBC pointed out recently that summer cruises are on sale for Central America at the moment and there are some pretty sweet deals available.
One of those deals is the 8-day cruise on the Carnival Freedom from Fort Lauderdale to Panama. The cruise is $549 at the moment (compared to over $1900 in you book later). The ship stops in Cozumel, Mexico and Puerto Limon, Costa Rica on its way to Panama.

The price is good and Central America is a place that deserves to be visited.
