Fitness magazine announced last month that daisy fuentes will host the 6º Annual Fitness Mind, Body & Spirit Games on Saturday, September 8th at 8AM. Daisy is in Fitness Magazine's September Cover, remember?

Fitness Magazine will partner with New York Road Runners to host a day of friendly competition at Central Park's Center Road. A $10,000 donation will be made to Girls on the Run - Manhattan, an organization which mission is to educate preteen girls for a lifetime of self-respect and healthy living through running.

Daisy Fuentes, 40, Fitness magazine's inaugural Mind, Body & Spirit Superstar will kick off the race, announce the winners and present $10,000 to her charity of choice, Girls on the Run - Manhattan.

"I'm so honored to be a part of Fitness' Mind, Body & Spirit Games," said Daisy Fuentes. "Fitness magazine epitomizes the movement of families being the best that they can be."

The events will include a men's and women's 4-mile speed race, an unscored Family fitness® Walk, and other activities. Awards for each race will be given, of course.

Event participants also can take advantage of massages, inspirational panels for runners to share messages and tips with each other, professional trainers on-site for stretching sessions (before and after the races), mini fitness classes, and interactive seminars led by leading fitness and nutrition experts.
