St.George (the one who killed the dragon, remember?) is very important in Brazilian culture. The myth is widely known, and he has an enormous number of devotes; not just Catholics, but people from different religions ask this warrior saint for protection and strength. Why am I talking about this?

Today I want to present you La Reina Madre - the blog of the Brazilian designer Denize Barros. She designs and handcrafts the most gorgeous bags you've ever seen. Each design is carefully handmade, and has a limited number of copies. From time to time she creates a unique piece, a truly piece of art. Check out her last "special bag", featuring St.George:
