Introducing the Blog

Hola, Bienvenida!

I'm so glad you're here with me. And I want to know everything about you! You see, I'm writing this blog for you, Amiga; I want it to grow as a friendship, as a space for comadres; and my wish is it'll become a gathering place for Latin women and girls.

There's so much to learn about the Latin people, countries and traditions, one person would never be able to do it alone! So, I ask you to come along in this journey; share your heritage, tell your stories, show pictures of your country, let me know about your background and your life, invite me to celebrate your national holidays! I cannot wait to hear what's on your mind.

I would also like to know about other blogs written by Latinas; if you write or read one of those, let me know. I'll be happy to promote good, cool blogs here. Just don't spam.

My door - by email or comments - will be always open for you. Please, feel free to contact me about anything, anytime. Even if you want to tell me about something you don´t like in my work. Criticism is welcomed - as long as it's expressed in a polite and respectful way.

That goes for anything you express here in Latina Viva. You are allowed to speak freely, BUT remember: racist, offensive, defamatory or denigrating remarks of any kind won't be tolerated. Let's play nice, ok?
