Is Shakira Getting Married in September?

According to Celebridades, a Latin radio show, Shakira will marry Antonio de la Rúa in September, 2007.

It's being said the ceremony will take place at her mansion in the dominican republic. Shakira and the Argentinian lawyer have been together for over 7 years.

Shakira didn't confirm the wedding's date, but she has assured to the Colombian press that it will happen very soon.

A few days ago the interpreter of "Hips Don't Lie" confirmed she will take a break of approximately six months, once the Oral Fixation's tour is over; that's one of the reasons why the press is speculating the wedding taking place in September.

Also according to the radio show's report, another hint about the upcoming wedding for Shaki and Antonito would be that her mother-in-law, Mrs. Ines Pertiné, have asked the Argentinian fashion designer Maria Pryor for a stunning gala dress.

In a phone interview from Miami, to the Mexican Radio Network Caracol, Shakira admitted marrying her Argentinian fiance is a "possibility".

"We dream about the things every couple dreams about, like having children", she said. The 28 years old Colombian singer also said that with her busy schedules will be hard to be "a prolific mother". She affirmed that "it will always be important to be there, to keep myself active, to keep working."

The Colombian newspaper "La Crónica" said the wedding is imminent; they have also informed about the sign of a pre-nup agreement between Shakira and Antonio de la Rúa.

Shaki also announced she will look for her dream bridal dress: "At some point I'll be getting into the details (of her wedding) and choosing a dress (...) I don't know, I hope there will be time."

The information about Shakira's wedding is still confusing, and nothing has been really confirmed yet; at least not by Shakira herself, nor by anyone from her circle of relatives and friends. Right now, everything is mostly gossip. Even so, it's obvious that she's not denying it will happen soon, despite her negative to talk about the date.
