Jennifer Lopez won't be attending the 2007 Billboard Latin Music Awards ceremony.

The Latin diva has earned the title of "Style Icon of the Year" from American magazine Us Weekly, and will receive her award on April 26 (same date of the Billboard Awards) at a formal ceremony in Hollywood.

After seeing her outfit for American Idol (photo), I'm not so sure she really should be a "Style Icon", but, what the hell. I guess once you get paid $2 million by a Russian billionaire to perform at a private concert, you can dress whatever you feel like, can't you?

Andrei Melnichenko asked Jennifer to perform a 40 minute show at his wife Aleksandra's 30th birthday party. The party took place last Saturday night (April 21st).

Melnichenko paid $1.2 million for the performance and a further $800,000 to fly Jennifer's Entourage from the US to Britain, where the party took place. Although the bash took place in the Berkshire countryside, Jennifer and her entourage stayed in a top London hotel, which was included in the $800,000 payment.

I bet this little extra cash will help Jennifer's husband, Marc Anthony, with his tax problems, don't you think?
