A wax sculpture of Jennifer Lopez was the center of all attention in Washington, today. The sculpture is part of a marketing strategy to promote the new Madame Tussauds wax museum, which will open its doors in October, in Washington D.C.

Dressed in a red cocktail dress, which highlights Lopez's famous "Latin curves", the sculpture astonished the people who was passing by Union Station, a train station near the Capitol.

The passers-by were allowed to take pictures standing next to Jennifer's statue during all morning. The most adventurous even hugged and kissed the singer's wax figure.

The statue of Jennifer Lopez will be part of the wax figures collection of the new Madame Tussauds museum. The famous museum, which has branches in Amsterdam, Las Vegas, New York City, Hong Kong, and Shanghai, presents wax sculptures of important and famous people, such as the U.S. president George W. Bush, actors like Brad Pitt, Daniel Radcliffe and Leonardo DiCaprio, and sport champions as Tiger Woods.
