Jennifer Lopez Will Produce Musical Drama In Spanish For Univision

Jennifer Lopez will be the executive producer of "La flor Pálida" (The Pale Flower); an Univision's five-hour miniseries, in Spanish.

The musical drama will feature music from her first Spanish album, Como Ama Una Mujer.

Her music plays an important role in the project, which was born from Jennifer Lopez mind. Manager (and co-executive producer) Simon Fields said:

"She (Jennifer Lopez) had an idea to create a miniseries in the old grand style of things like 'The Thorn Birds', but using the words in the music to drive the narrative".

The singer won't act in the miniseries, but will appear at the end of each episode, singing a song from "Como Ama una Mujer."

The filming of "La Flor Pálida" is about to begin in Mexico; the project "begins lensing in Mexico City within three weeks for a likely late May premiere".

León Ichaso is in charge of direction. Ichaso and Lopez (along with Mark Anthony) have worked together before, in "El Cantante" (The Singer).
