Latino Comedy Project’s "300" Parody
This is the Latino Comedy Project's "300" parody, a video from the LCP's "all new" full-length sketch comedy show "AlienNation". The LPC website says:
The Latino Comedy Project (LCP) is a popular, award-winning sketch comedy ensemble sponsored by Texas' premier bilingual theatre company Teatro Humanidad. Debuting in February 1998, the LCP's unique brand of satire immediately struck a chord, garnering rave audience response and critical acclaim.
With an impressive membership of new and established Latino writers and performers, the LCP turns
mainstream culture upside down in all-original sketch comedy productions that hilariously recreate the world in the Latino image! They're bad. They're brown. They're the Latino Comedy Project.
The video is short – 01.11 – but is full of cliches and stereotypes. It's potentially offensive, and yet very, very funny.

People on YouTube is saying the video is racist and that it's setting "the idiocy standard for the rest of us" Latinos. What do you think?

Those who find it offensive fail to understand that satire is one way that our voice is going to be heard. Latino’s will be the largest minority in America and the members of LCP are bringing out the very important issue of immigration into the living rooms of America and showing the hypocrisy that exists on this hot button issue. Way to go LCP!
