Yesterday I went hunting; blog hunting. More precisely, Latin blogs hunting. :)

I found many new, good blogs to add to my RSS reader. Since next week, I'll be presenting them to you; I'm sure you'll enjoy reading them. By the way, if you have a cool and intelligent Latin blog to recommend, I'll be more than happy to check it out - leave a comment or send me an email. :)

One of the blogs I've found - Sexy Spanish Club in Buenos Aires - has an interesting section on the sidebar: Make Spanish Fun. The blog author, Maya Frost, has put togheter a useful compilation of Spanish learning resources.

One of the items immediately caught my attention: Fun Spanish Games Online. I went to check it out, and found a very nice website: Online Spanish Help. On the home page they say:

"OnlineSpanishHelp.com is designed to help you build your Spanish vocabulary and comprehension through free Spanish audio immersion. Our flash cards, games and immersion exercises help you tutor yourself and learn Spanish quickly. Plus, our vocab glossary provides a comprehensive Spanish verb conjugation chart for each verb".

The site is well built, and all the tools are good. I like the flash cards, the vocabulary has a good amount of words, the conjugation chart is very useful, the audio helps a lot, but the games are really great. You can choose between:

Hangman - Guess letters to figure out the Spanish phrase before it's too late.
Memory - Find the Spanish word and the English translation.
Matching - Match the Spanish audio with the English translation.

If you want to learn Spanish, practice or test your knowledge of the language, this site is a good choice. It's complete and yet simple, so it's great for beginners, and I think it's really good for bilingual children.
