Makeshift BandAids
My hubby loves to cook, and sometimes he gets little cuts and nicks. Well, sitting around the table a few days ago with family, we got to talking about different home remedies and house maintenance tips, and we started swapping solutions for cuts. I heard a really good one that I thought I would put out there.
BTW and just for fun, BandAids also masquerade as stickerplasters, plasters and Elastoplasters.
Anyway, back to the kitchen table. Apparently if you take a thin strip of onion it works to bandage small cuts. Not only will it hold well, it has antiseptic properties that help in the healing process. Pretty cool, huh?
