Washington Post has published a beautiful and interesting Photo Gallery: The National Tree Photo Gallery.

The photos are stunning. According to The Washington Post, photographer Aldon D. Nielsen has been taking pictures of the National Christmas Tree since 1963. Although they say photos were taken every year, there are only 15 pictures in the gallery. It would have been nice to see all of them, and see how the tree changed from year to year.
