Newspaper Subscription in Latin America
Are you considering a newspaper subscription from Latin America but don't know for sure what paper you should subscribe to?
Newspapers are a great way to keep your language skills sharp – regardless of whether you're reading in your native language or a second language. Latin America has a number of good newspapers to choose from.
Argentina has a long list of good newspapers. If you're looking for an English-language paper, the Buenos Aires Herald is your best choice. Buenos Aires has a few other good papers to pick from. I'm fond of La Razón.
The Santiago Times is a good paper if you're interested in affairs in Chile. My favorite Colombian paper is El Tiempo, published in Bogata.
If you're looking for Latin American news with an American perspective, there are a number of Spanish-language papers published in the US. Azteca 21 in San Antonia and Diario La Estrella in Dallas are both good papers. You may also want to look at Diario La Estrella, published in Miami.
