Ooops! Sorry, I forgot...

I make no excuses for myself.

Yesterday, when I gave you the "Nega Maluca" recipe, I forgot to include the topping!

Traditionally, this cake is served covered with this chocolate topping:

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar
3 tb spoons powdered chocolate
3 tb spoons milk
1 tb spoon margarine

Directions:

Mix ingredients; cook over low heat, stirring constantly. The result will be a thick sauce, a bit "sandy", because of the sugar. Cover the cake immediately, and sprinkle with granulated chocolate. You must be quick, because when the sauce cools off, it will turn into a bright, semi-solid topping.

This is the traditional way, but you can get creative. Nega Maluca is a very versatile cake; you can fill it, use another topping, serve it with no topping at all. Just try it!
