RBD Christian Chavez Admitted Carrying Marihuana
Mexican singer Christian Chávez, member of the famous Mexican band RBD, said that his recent arrest in the US, due to marihuana possession has been one of the most difficult situations he has faced in his life.
"I accept my responsibility, I know we are a band followed by many children, and I am totally ashamed. It was really embarrassing telling my parents about that, I believe that it was one of the most difficult things I've lived, and I didn't even consume it", Chávez commented.
During a press conference in the US, Christian admitted that carrying marihuana with him, while he was in New York, was a big mistake; but he insisted that he didn't consume it, reported the newspaper Primera Hora.
"After all, you must accept the truth and learn from your mistakes", affirmed Chávez, 23. He says he is not addicted to drugs. "It is not an addiction, it's not something that I need for living".
This is a little hard to believe. It's possible that he was using pot "just for fun", but it's also possible that he has a drug problem. I don't think a drug addict would tell you "Yeah, I'm addicted to this sh*t". And the "I didn't even consume it" is a dumb statement to make; he was carrying the drug, if he didn't smoke it is because the police didn't give him time to.
Christian made clear that his "five siblings" (the other RBD members) didn't had anything to do with the incident and asked the parents of the under aged RBD fans not to take "retaliation" because of the incident.
The RBD was arrested in May with marihuana on him, and was called by a legal court on August 6. The process ended with an apology for the US authorities.

RBD it really is in my eyes the stupidest band ever!!!!! I mean, after they made all those stupid Soap Movies, they cam with really dumb songs on stage thinking that if they will paint their hair pink, or the girls will come with really short skirts and only with bras on, they will have success… They were right! Only with this, they manipulated the world! They should go in a drug rehab before getting on stage! It’s silly!

I hope this was a good lesson to learn for him, he seems to realize the seriousness and the consequences of his acts. I’ll give him credit for that.

Here\’s to hoping he gets the help he needs as well. Just because someone is famous doesn\’t mean they aren\’t deserving of love, support and professional help.
