RBD member Maite Perroni was officially presented as NYX cosmetics new face. Perroni spoke about being the image of a cosmetic's brand:

"Cosmetics are often related to a superficial part of us and I believe that's not true, because we need to feel confident and cosmetics are a tool", said Maite.

At the end of the press conference, Maite had to face questions about Christian Chávez and the marijuana he bought in New York.

"Being a true friend is to say when things are right and when things are wrong, and that's what we have done, we have supported him, we're with him, we are not going to leave him alone in this, but that doesn't mean we want to be accomplices, not even to be a part of this, but he's not going to be alone", she said.

That's a lot of "we didn't do it and we don't want to have anything to do with it", isn't it? Things aren't going very well for Christian; most recently he had to face rumors about a supposed fight between him and his husband. Maite didn't want to say anything about that either:

"I'm not going to talk today nor ever, about my partners' private life, I don't know what happens behind the doors of their houses", emphasized Perroni.

On the other hand, Christian Chávez, denied to have physically attacked his husband, the Canadian B.J. Murphy. Rumors said Murphy disapproved and criticized Chávez because of the marijuana incident in NY. According to the rumors, Christian was drunk and he didn't take well the complaints; after a discussion, he allegedly slapped Murphy.

The RBD singer clarified to Lalagun4.com: "It is a vile lie that is intended to damage my image. No lie will distract me from my main goal, to remain popular among RBD fans."

Despite the rumors, RBD is preparing for their next concerts, which will take place on October 4 and 5, in Houston, Texas.
