Ricky Martin apparently has a 14 years old daughter in Monterrey, Mexico. Her name is Paola. Several international news media are indicating that Ricky Martin has legally recognized his daughter several years ago, and that he pays child support.

Mexican TV channel Televisa recorded a video showing Paola and her mother eating hamburgers in a restaurant. After finishing dinner, they left from the restaurant and were intercepted by a news reporter.

"Ricky is a man who sings very well and we are going to the concert", said Beatriz, the mother of Ricky Martin's alleged daughter. She was evasive and avoided to speak about the paternity issue, while Paola was having an ice cream. The girl refused to answer any questions.

"El Universal" informed that the woman with whom Martin supposedly had an affair works in a bar during the weekends. Televisa reported Beatriz met Ricky Martin when he was a member of Menudo; she was a huge fan an followed him when he left the band. Also according to Televisa, Beatriz and Martin had a short romance, and Paola is the product of the affair.

Ricky Martin hasn't confirmed nor denied anything yet. His spokesman said to People en Español: "We weren't aware of these rumors. But we don't comment about our artists' private life".
