Sabrina Sakaë is the name of Thalía's Daughter

While Jennifer Lopez still hasn't said a word about her obvious pregnancy, Mexican singer Thalía became a mommy on Sunday, after giving birth to a baby girl. Oddly enough, Thalia named her daughter sabrina Sakaë Mottola.

The baby, daughter of Thalía and Tommy Mottola, was born on October the 7th, 2007. The official announcement was made trough Thalía's official website, and People en Español:

"The entire family is very happy with the arrival of the little baby girl, and mother and daughter are perfectly healthy," said the announcement.

The name - Sabrina Sakaë - has two meanings: Sabrina means "princess" and Sakaë means "prosperity" in Japanese. Thalía chose the Japanese name because she "admires very much the Eastern cultures," added the official note. Yes, that's a very good reason to choose your daughter's name, indeed.

People en Español also said the family was in Colorado, although it's unknown if the birth took place in Colorado or in New York.

Funny note: People en Español has a Special about Thalía:

Thalía: De niña a mamá
Te presentamos un especial sobre la mamá del momento... (sorry, Salma) LOL!
