Shakira Wins People's Choice Award

After a fabulous 2006 - which included the launch of the ALAS foundation, and a meeting with Chilean President Michelle Bachelet - Shakira has started a promising 2007.

My favorite Colombian singer is the winner in the "Best Pop Song" category of the People's Choice Awards, with Hips Don't Lie.

The winners of the 33rd Annual People's Choice Awards were announced yesterday, at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A. at 9PM ET on the CBS Television Network.

Also, Shakira has already been asked by two other famous singers who wanted to work with her:

She's going to record "Beautiful Liar", a "Spanglish" duet with Beyoncé, for the re-release of B'Day. Beyoncé has said she's a huge Shakira's fan, and had been trying to get in touch with her for almost a year.

And last but not least, Shakira is teaming up with alejandro sanz again, in his new album, "El Tren de los Momentos". The album will be released tomorrow. Shakira sings and dances on the video of "Te Lo Agradezco, Pero No."
