Shakira’s Design for Hard Rock’s Signature Series Tees
On Friday 16th, Shakira presented in the Hard Rock Cafe Paris the 23rd installment of Hard Rock's Signature Series Tees.
Part of the profits from the sale of the shirts benefit the Fundación Pies Descalzos, created by the Colombian singer. The foundation focuses on finding and giving opportunities for Colombian children who are victims of violence, and also in building new schools or improving old ones.
Shakira is the 23rd rock star – and the second woman – who becomes part of the Hard Rock's Signature Series Tees designers team. She is joining a list of icons and legends such as Elton John, Eric Clapton, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Nicks and Ozzy Osbourne, who work to collect millions of dollars for various humanitarian movements all around the world.
"The t-shirt features a vivid pink guitar, bearing a set of angel wings on the base that form into a glowing pink heart, with the neck of the guitar wrapped in flowers. The design, created by Shakira, is set on a black T-shirt, and for the first time, is available exclusively in a ladies junior baby-doll size. Offered in size Small – XXL."
