WorldHum calls it apartheid: until recently, Cuban citizens weren't allowed into tourist hotels. It made it a little more difficult to actually talk to an average Cuban on your trip to Cuban...
Well, technically that ended last year; MSNBC covered the policy change. But the impact, according to WorldHum is only now beginning to be seen.
Of course, the average Cuban still can't afford to stay in a tourist hotel. So the time it's taken for the policy change to make a difference is really no surprise.
