A number of news sources (NY Times, Agence France Press, CNN, the WaPo, Reuters, Bloomberg) this week covered the Senate confirmation and swearing in of Sonia Sotomayor as the first Hispanic Supreme Court Justice. (I thought about mentioning the Associate Press coverage, but after reading this Mashable piece, I'd only link to the AP for a fee…)

Sotomayor is the 111th Justice, the third woman, and the first Latina to serve on the Supreme Court. Sotomayor was sworn in Saturday by Chief Justice John Roberts.
