Chivalry is still alive, ladies. At least in my world. The question I have today is this: When is it prudent to tell your guy that you're being harassed?
My hubby and I have an ongoing debate over two occasions when societies less valuable elements saw fit to harass me... and I didn't let him know.
On the first occasion, we were at a night club in New Orleans, pre-Katrina. Why did I keep silent? Because we were surrounded by a ton of drunks-chances were good a fight would start.
The second occasion was just last week at a local restaurant. An outdoor table with three guys and about thirty empty empty beer bottles gave me more attention than I wanted. They left as he showed up. Again, beer plus idiot equals fight, so I said nothing.
Mind you, my guy doesn't get into fights, but can I trust the boozed up Neanderthals won't react violently? Anyway, that's the question. When do you tell your Latin Love and when is it best to keep silent?
