Top Ten Latin Albums 2006 - II

5 - La 5° Estación - El Mundo se Equivoca

A good Spanish pop/rock band I've recently discovered. For me, lyrics matter as much as the melody, and La 5° Estación does well on both. Although they are not Latin (the band is from Madrid), the passion of the songs and their music style could fool anyone.

3 - ivete sangalo - Best of Ivete Sangalo

Ivete Sangalo is the most famous axé singer of Brazil, and I am a huge fan. She's a beautiful woman with a powerful voice, always singing songs that make you want to dance. This album brings back her best hits; it's impossible to listen to it and don't feel a boost in your energy levels.

2 - Skank - Carrossel

One of the best Brazilian bands, who mix rock, reggae and inspired, fun lyrics. This is not their best album, in my opinion; but still a good one.

1 - Shakira - Fijación Oral Vol.1

Have you noticed I LOVE Shakira? :)
