Travel Nurse: Summer in Cancun

If you work as a nurse now, one easy way to break the monotony of life on the hospital floor is to spend some time working as a travel nurse.
A friend of mine spent most of last summer in Cancun as a travel nurse. An agency hired here to stay there and meet clients who had signed up for a travel nurse as part of their vacation package. Most her patients were in Mexico for about a week. She would actually meet them at the airport and help the families get their patient moved into the resort. Usually it was a family traveling with one of the grandparents. But in a couple of cases her patient was a child with some disability or other medical issue.
Travel nursing isn't new. But a lot of people in the nursing profession are just now taking notice of it. It's really a nice break from the drudgery and drain of a normal nursing routine.
