Walking to Guantanamo

PRI's The World had a fascinating interview last week with author Richard Fleming about his new book, "Walking to Guantánamo."

David Hershlovits has an excellent description of the book:

Armed with notebooks and a camera, Fleming set off to Cuba determined to walk his way across the country. Walking to Guantánamo, along with its companion photo volume The Road to Guantánamo: Images from a Journey Through Cuba, is both a personal chronicle of one man's attempt to battle depression through an incredible journey and a travelogue of his encounters and ruminations on Cuban music and history, religion, bird watching et al.
